Peak hour train chaos hits Sydney with fears a person has been struck after going on the tracks

A major Sydney train station has ground to the halt amid fears someone was hit on the tracks.
Trains running between Central Station and Bondi Junction on the T4 line was halted shortly before 6pm on Wednesday.
A Transport NSW spokesman told Daily Mail emergency services are attending an incident at Edgecliff station.
Commuters have been advised to seek alternative travel or delay their train trip.
Replacement buses are headed to affected stations, where commuters were briefly stuck on trains.
Metro services are available Martin Place, Central and Sydenham.
Footage from the scene showed several emergency service crews attended the scene, including police, firefighters and paramedics.
