The player turned into a Premier League and UEFA Champions League champion at the Etihad Stadium; however, when considering personal achievements, they have not matched the standards set during their time at Aston Villa.
'I believe that Jack Grealish not coming off the bench during the FA Cup final indicates it might be time for him to move on,' Scholes stated. TNT Sports .
'He needs some time off to rejuvenate his professional life. Everyone understands how talented a player he can be; however, over the past few years, things have been fluctuating.'
'Having the young player (Claudio Echeverri) come on before him in the final must have really stung Grealish; it probably pained him quite a bit.'

'I believe it would be ideal for everyone involved if he departs from the club. Why shouldn’t he contemplate returning to Aston Villa?'
England legend Alan Shearer believes that Grealish should depart from Manchester City this summer as well. and believes Guardiola is ‘done’ with the £100m signing.
Speaking on The Rest is Football podcaster Shearer stated: 'It's over for him at Manchester City. He needs to go.'
‘If Pep Guardiola chooses to substitute a newcomer, a young player, along with Gundogan instead of Jack Grealish when Manchester City urgently need a goal... then it’s time for him to reconsider his approach.’

'He's finished at Manchester City; he must go now. No matter what the cause, Pep isn't happy with him anymore and no longer wants him around. It truly is over for him.'
Grealish might opt to depart from the Premier League altogether and reconstruct his career somewhere else.
Asked about Grealish following Man City’s victory over Fulham, which clinched the club’s Champions League qualification, Guardiola said: ‘Don’t ask me about Jack.
‘Who said I’m not happy with Jack? Rico [Lewis] was not selected, [James] McAtee was exceptional against Aston Villa and Wolves – why not ask me about McAtee? It’s not personal.
‘I have 24 players, I had to get rid of six players last game and five players today because [Mateo] Kovacic got sent off.
‘I treat Jack like I think of [Abdukodir] Khusanov, McAtee and all the players who have not been but you say I’m selecting we are in trouble?
‘It’s not about that. I have 24 players, I have to get rid of five players because Kovacic was sent off in the last game.
'I am considering Jack and Khusanov and McAtee. This has nothing personal against Jack. I am the individual who advocated for him to be here initially and also pushed for his continued presence through this season and into the following one.'
'I'm the one who mentioned wanting Jack Grealish. Since he didn't come, well, that’s it. Whatever transpires in the future is up to Txiki [Begiristain], Hugo, and the agents.'
