Falk subsequently clarified: "It should be mentioned that some staff members were displeased. With cost reductions being implemented across the board, merely a select number of employees get to travel with their families."

It is reported that sporting director Max Eberl implemented cost-saving strategies which involve cutting team expenditure by 20 percent.

The individuals impacted encompass mid-level managers, entry-tier employees, and event-day marshals—many of these people will be left behind when the team departs for the United States.

Bayern is covering the expenses of Harry Kane’s wife, Katie Goodland, even though the striker allegedly earns £400,000 each week.

'I think the closer we get to the tournament, the more you can see the excitement growing,' Kompany said in March.
